Just wanted to show you the ugliest Christmas trees in the world.

Yep, they're twigs and the only decoration is white ribbon that makes them look like they've been toilet papered.

I have to stare at these all day (well usually night) at work so I snuck out a camera while the lobby was empty. Just sharin' my pain. Sorry the photo is so bad, I only had a moment to take it.

Now all you need is to hear the spooky French operatic Christmas music we have piped through the hotel and the picture is complete.

They supposedly used the same trees last year but they had lights and red ribbon. The best part about the crappy trees is that they actually paid someone to come in and decorate them and that's not even the funny part. . .the people who decorated them took photos to show off their work.

I suggested we cut the ribbon off and decorate with glass baubles and lights. . .
