I've made some decisions. . .
Firstly, I'm going back to school. Well only for one subject, I'm not sure if I could handle more at the moment and am not quite ready to start another degree or Post-grad course so I'm applying to study one history (art) subject. Now this is all lovely apart from the fact that I have to pay $221.40 just to enrol and have the new subject added to my degree and that doesn't even include the fee's for the actual course. On top of that there will be books and the cost of getting to Caulfield (other side of the city) every week. I'm looking forward to it though.
I have all so made the decision that Smitten will be living here one week on, one week off. I love the little guy but didn't take into account the fact that a very loud parrot and a small apartment block don't mix. I have to get up at the break of dawn (which is when I usually go to sleep) and entertain the bugger until a reasonable hour so he doesn't wake the neighbours. If I manage to keep him awake (he gets cranky when I do, like a little kid)late he gets up at about 7.30. So he'll be spending one week at my parents house where he can scream to his hearts content and one week here where he gets more freedom and better food.
This will all so mean that I can have a little more of a social life. I have to make sure I'm home by the morning so that I can entertain him. I also don't want to have to jump up at 5.30am if I ever bring someone home (don't get the wrong idea, the suitors aren't exactly knocking down my door at the moment, and on the rare occasion when they do, I haven't let them in lately).
So my little green man is leaving for a break tomorrow. Well the break is for me.
For those of you waiting "Lost in Translation (lesson 3)" will be here shortly. This lesson will cover greetings and phrases. watch this space.
