Bridget a young mother of three children died this morning.
She had been steadily deteriorating over the last few days and held on until all of her family and friends could say goodbye. Her parents arrived this morning and her last words were "I've had enough now".
My emotions are strange. I am sad that I wont get to speak to her again. I am grieving for her family and my best friend Kathy who was her Sister is law. . .
. . .I am relieved for her. For this I feel a little guilty, I know she wanted to go, but her kids and husband are hurting so badly right now.
Even at her sickest, when she could barely open her eyes, she was offering tea and coffee to her visitors. That was her through and through.
So for the fourth time this year. I'm getting my black clothes and dark glasses ready.
