Well it has been a long time. .So this is not a real update, just a short list of happenings since I last visited.
- Went to Newcastle for the "this is not art" festival, 4000 odd art types took over the city, drank the horrible Ginger beer and went unnoticed by the locals who were oblivious as to why the city was suddenly full of "those arty, hippy types".
- Finished my study of Critical Practices. . .waiting for my marks.
- Went to the desert with my best friend and his family ( check out http://nb.mindsay.com) for some photos. . .will fill you all in on this one soon.
- Little Johnny Howard won the Federal election. . .dammit (I feel for all my American friends as well)
- Went to Bright (Victorian Alps) with my family. . .Only way to describe it is through this joke: God was allocating accommodation in heaven, A priest came up and asked God "Why has LittleBlue's father gotten a better house than me?" God responded with. . ."When you preached, everyone fell asleep, when LittleBlue's father drove, everyone prayed"
- Smoked about 50 cigarettes over the Melbourne cup long weekend (yes I know, over four months wasted) I use the above holiday with family as a reason. One day no smoke.
- And finally completed my 25th journey around the sun. . .
