Ok, I've done it. . .what every artist (I really hate that word) does at some point in their career. . . I got me a hospitality job!
Being the Vegetarian I am, Food and Beverage was not my cup of tea (without milk of course). . .I now spend some of my nights behind a reception desk at one of my city's Hotels. . .
How this has changes my life. . .
- you may or may not have noticed, no bloody time to blog, though that will change soon
- I'm around people every day, very strange, I've gotten so used to my secluded, private little world inside the studio
- Art is a probelm solving exercise where none of the problems have solutions, so if I stuff up it's ok because there's no "right" answer (does that make sense??) anywho at the hotel I'm solving problems all night. . .and my solutions effect other people (so the world really doesn't revolve around me. . .hhmmm).
- I'm actually good at my new job. . .
Lada was a Trainee who took our initial reservation then greeted us at check-in, when she was off her "L" plates. She was fantastic!

So much more to say, so I'll give you a short list
- Moving house (again), so don't expect too much from me.
- Saw R.E.M live again, they were fantastic.
- Smitten (the crazy parrot) hasn't been well, he hurt his beak. Will fill you all in soon.
- missed all of you, will try and visit more often.
Hugs
