Just got home from Tasmania (Australia's Island state and as I've said before, don't picture Hawaii. . .picture Ireland. I will fill in more details on the fantastic trip away very soon).
Oh and if the wtf team are wondering. . .there were no snakes on the plane
only a few screaming kids.
Anywho, back to the original point of this post.
On my way home I stopped at the Post Office to check the PO box (I don't trust my nosey neighbours who I caught going through my mail once) and in it amongst many bills, I found a letter from the University where I got my degree. . .
Now when I say got my degree, it's not totally true. I never actually chose to graduate although I completed the course. . . and then some. So a few weeks ago I sent in an application to graduate in Absentia, the letter I received today stated:
"It is your responsibility to check your inclusion in the ceremony, your name and your degree title. . ."
Which got me thinking. . .If I sent the amendment form back saying that the degree title I was applying for was actually a PhD rather than a boring BFA, would they check. . . Or would some poor overworked clerk in the graduations office just pass it through and save me another few years of study I've been planning to do?
Hmmmm,
L
