The weirdest thing is going on at the moment. . Coda  (one of myfavorite bands...EVER! their drummer is amazing) are directly across the river from me! There is a river festival tomorrow and they're sound checking and I can see the whole thing from my balcony!

*Update: They sound fantastic!

** Update: Oh no! they got a singer. . .dammit, they were fantastic as an instrumental. The singer sounded awful while he warmed up and then fantastic when he did some Gregorian type excercises. . .the song they played with him singing didn't sound too crash hot. . .I'll try to keep an open mind until I get to hear them play the actual show tomorrow.

OMG! I'm going to get to watch my favourite band from my balcony!

I took some dodgy video with my camera of the sound checks but I'll have to sift through them before I even consider posting any. . . maybe the real show tomorrow.
